WordPress Sites
If you are using WordPress, always keep your WordPress and plugins up-to-date. You can choose to enable auto-update or check back periodically to manually update each plugin. We do recommend that you check your site routinely to ensure there are no conflicts or issues with your site or files even if you have made no changes.
A great plugin to protect your WordPress site that we recommend is WordFence. There is a free and PRO version of the plugin. The free one will do the job, but you can add more features by purchasing PRO.
Website Backup
We also recommend that you make a Backup of your site files and database. This ensures that your site and database(s) are safe if you were to ever experience an attack. We offer free Backup Scheduling, which can be found in your Control Panel. Visit our article on how to set up a Backup Schedule.
